The Network Hawk application takes a PC's network environment and
displays it graphically live in real time and three
dimensions – just like a video game which allows you to literally
'walk' around a PC's network traffic – this new concept in network
insight is an invaluable tool in teaching both how networks work
and how computers communicate with one another.
With Network Hawk, demonstrating network traffic is as easy as
watching a video game or television programme!
Network Hawk can
also be used to differentiate between suspicious network traffic
and normal everyday traffic; allowing Network Hawk users to become
quickly adept at understanding the difference between their
networks normal 'traffic visualisation'; and suspicious changes in
that visualisation which represent a threat to the security of the
network.
Just by looking at the 3D visualisation, even a novice Network
Hawk user can tell if something suspicious is occurring on a
network!
On top of all these applications; Network Hawk can also record
months of REAL TIME traffic to a local SQL Database – which can be
played back from any connected Network Hawk client, at any future
time! 'Distributed mode' even allows multiple PC's to log their
traffic to a single SQL database, playback of which displays the
network traffic not just for individual PC's but for ENTIRE
NETWORKS. |
